The whole continent of Pyrrhia was renamed The Talons Empire. Darkstalker’s IceWing plague succeeded, killing Winter in the oubliette and all IceWings except for a Jade Mountain student who had found an animus proof bracelet. Vulture tricked Darkstalker into making him an animus and they both became invincible and immortal. Darkstalker used his magic to destroy the eye of onyx. Vulture signed a treaty with Darkstalker to work together and to be invulnerable to animus spells. Vulture expanded the Talons of Power to a vast area, and assassinated Onyx giving him the throne because there were no living heirs left. Turtle never made it out of Darkstalker’s fortress because Qibli and Winter helped break him out. Onyx killed Sunny and ascended the throne with Vulture as her right hand man. Cobra successfully assassinated Thorn, leaving the only heirs Onyx and Sunny, who had a duel.

Cobra made it to Thorns stronghold using Ostrich as bait.

Qibli tried to escape Vultures fortress, but he was caught and him and Winter were put in the Oubliette, introduced near the beginning, as well as Ostrich. But what would the continent be like if Qibli didn’t succeed? This is what happened: N Darkness of Dragons, Qibli meets his Grandfather again and finds out about the Talons of Power, led by Vulture.
